Board-Certified Gastroenterologist
Dr. Jorge Guzman brings over two decades of expertise in gastroenterology to the Mililani community, with a strong focus on advanced endoscopic procedures, complex digestive disorders, and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Guzman earned his medical degree, PhD, and post-doctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He went on to complete specialized fellowship training in advanced procedures including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)—techniques that allow for earlier detection and more effective treatment of serious digestive conditions.
Board-certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Guzman has authored numerous publications in areas such as inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, biochemical pharmacology, and cell biology, helping advance the science of digestive health.
Before moving to Mililani, Dr. Guzman cared for patients on Maui and in West Oahu, earning a reputation for his thoroughness, approachable style, and dedication to improving patients’ quality of life. He looks forward to bringing his extensive training and experience to Central Oahu, where he is committed to providing accessible, expert gastroenterology care for the community.
