Maryson C. Cabudoy, RN, BSN

Director of Mililani Gastro | Certified Gastroenterology Nurse

Maryson Cabudoy brings more than 30 years of nursing and leadership experience to Mililani Gastro, with a career dedicated to advancing patient care and increasing access to life-saving colon cancer screening.

Originally from the Philippines, Maryson immigrated to California as a teenager and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Biola University in 1981. She moved to Hawaii in 1989 as one of the pioneer ICU nurses at Pali Momi Medical Center, later discovering her passion for gastroenterology when she joined their outpatient department.

For over three decades, Maryson has been a leader in GI nursing and clinical operations. She earned her Certified Gastroenterology RN (CGRN) credential in 1998 and served as President of the Hawai‘i Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA). She has also been instrumental in building and managing two other ambulatory surgery center (ASC) endoscopy facilities on Oahu, bringing world-class care closer to local communities.

For the past 18 years, Maryson has proudly called Mililani home, and her vision for Mililani Gastro is deeply personal. Her younger brother survived colon cancer after being diagnosed at just 40 years old—an experience that fuels her mission to ensure every resident has access to screening and prevention close to home. In a state with some of the highest rates of colon cancer in the nation, her goal is simple but powerful: to see 100% of the community screened and colon cancer-free.

Maryson combines her clinical expertise with her commitment to compassionate, community-based care, ensuring Mililani Gastro is not only a place for healing but also a source of hope and prevention for generations to come.
